Thank you for choosing Light in Himalayas Yoga Retreat. We understand that travel plans may change, so we encourage you to carefully read our Cancellation Refund Policy before making a reservation.

1. Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required 30% deposit along with a confirmation email from Light in Himalayas Yoga Retreat.

2. Cancellation by Guest

More than 30 days before the retreat:

The 30% deposit is non-refundable. Additionally, if you paid the full amount and cancel more than 30 days prior to the retreat, you will receive a 70% refund of the total retreat fee, with the remaining 30% booking deposit being non-refundable.

15–30 days before the retreat:

No refund will be provided.

No-Show or Early Departure:

Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled date or leave the retreat early will not be eligible for any refund.

3. Transfer to a Future Retreat

If you are unable to attend your scheduled retreat, you may request to transfer your booking to a future retreat at least 30 days before the retreat start date, subject to availability and our approval. This booking transfer may only be permitted once and must be utilized within 12 months of the original retreat date.

4. Cancellation by Light in Himalayas Yoga Retreat

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances—such as natural disasters, government restrictions, health emergencies, or other events beyond our control—guests may choose one of the following options: transfer their booking to a future retreat (subject to availability) or receive a full refund of the amount paid to Light in Himalayas Yoga Retreat. Please note that we are not responsible for additional expenses, including airfare, visas, travel insurance, accommodation booked elsewhere, or any third-party costs.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7–14 business days. The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, and transaction fees charged by banks or payment gateways may be deducted where applicable.

6. Travel Insurance Recommendations

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, flight delays or cancellations, lost or delayed baggage, and personal belongings. Travel insurance helps protect you against unexpected circumstances that are beyond our control.

7. Force Majeure

Light in Himalayas Yoga Retreat shall not be held liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods or landslides, severe weather conditions, government restrictions, public health emergencies, civil unrest, or transportation disruptions. In such situations, we will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative retreat date or another suitable solution.
